Cheryl & Brendan | Snohomish Wedding

Cheryl and Brendan were married on October 6th at Green Gates at Flowing Lake in Snohomish, Washington. Even though it rained like cats and dogs the day before and there were some overcast clouds in the morning, this day eventually cleared up to a beautiful sky, which was such a blessing! Family and friends from ALL over the world came to celebrate these two, and you could tell just how loved they were from the sheer excitement and joy that was buzzing all around them. Cheryl wore the most stunning tulle skirt with a lace top that perfectly matched her style while Brendan and all of his fellas wore cool, blue suits that went perfectly with the gorgeous fall foliage.

There is so much that I will remember about this day - the beautiful sunset on the dock, the delicious Bitterroot BBQ, the rockin’ live band, “Funky 2 Death” (who got EVERYONE on the dance floor), the hilarious yet heartfelt speech by Cheryl’s brother, Ernest - but one of my favorite things came at the very end of their big day. Instead of a lavender toss, bubbles or sparkler exit, these two finished up their reception ever so coolly by using their incredible musical talents alongside some of their close friends to entertain us with their own cover of the song “Africa”. This was so fitting as the couple was leaving soon after to go explore South Africa for their Honeymoon!

To Cheryl and Brendan - this song will forever remind me of you guys and that fun, fun day back in October. Love you guys and this journey you’ve embarked on together!!

xoxo
